Attractions and special events at EnergyLandia – what else besides rollercoasters and carousels?

EnergyLandia is undoubtedly associated primarily with impressive rollercoasters and exciting carousels. However, the offer of this place goes far beyond the standard attractions related to roller coasters. It is a real entertainment center that can surprise a rich calendar of special events, live shows and themed attractions available throughout the season.

In this article, we will look at the less obvious aspects of EnergyLandia – artistic shows, special events and zones that offer more than just dizzying speeds and overloads. If you are planning a visit to EnergyLandia or simply want to discover what else the Zator park has to offer, this guide is for you.

Meetings with mascots

Joint games with EnergyLandia mascots, during which the youngest children have the opportunity to take a photo and hug their favorite mascot, are undoubtedly one of the main points of a trip to EnergyLandia. It is worth knowing that these meetings take place at set times and in designated places. The main meeting place is the small Kids Show stage, right at the entrance to Bajkolandia from the pool side. They are usually held daily at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The second place to meet the mascots is the new children’s zone Sweet Valley. Immediately after entering the zone, on the left side, there is the Toffee Theatre stage, where you can also expect a visit from the mascots.

In addition to their regular meeting points, the mascots often walk around the park, so they can be spotted in different places at different times of the day. The guaranteed place of their presence is the main square of EnergyLandia, right after the park gates open. On days when there is a parade, the mascots pass from Mayan to the main courtyard of the park 15 minutes before it closes. During other times of the day, they can be found mainly in Fairytale Land, Family Zone and Sweet Valley. They appear less frequently in Dragon Castle and Aqualantis.

Artistic shows

On the territory of EnergyLandia there is seven theatres and amphitheaters, where special artistic events take place. At our disposal are:

  • Colosseum Theatre or Colosseum Amphitheatre, which are located just behind the Flying Swings,
  • Egypt Theatre and Egypt Amphitheatre between the Space Gun and Monster House attractions,
  • Small stage Kids Show in Bajkolandia, right at its entrance from the swimming pool area,
  • Toffee Theatre Scene in Sweet Valley right after entering the zone on the left side of it,
  • Sweet Valley Town Hall in the main part of the Sweet Valley zone.
Egypt Theatre (entrance is next to Space Gun attraction)

Theatres and amphitheaters host a variety of artistic shows at set times during the day. The repertoire includes performances in the style known from TV talent shows, illusionist shows, light shows, and even educational activities. The audience can seat at least several dozen people at a time. The repertoire can be easily checked on the EnergyLandia website and on boards displayed near the theaters.

You can easily attend several shows on different topics in one day. It is certainly a great opportunity to relax, take shelter from the summer heat, rain or a frosty day during Winter Kingdom. For our little ones it will also be a chance to get inspired, have fun and learn something new.

Performances usually last about 15 minutes and take place every few dozen minutes. The announcers often encourage people to visit the theater using the sound system in front of the building. Thanks to this, even if we lose track of time, the park service will remind us of the upcoming event.

Artistic performance at the Colosseo amphitheater

In my opinion Art shows are a great opportunity to broaden your horizons, especially if we have only seen this type of performance on TV. Of course, we should bear in mind that many of them consist of similar and repetitive elements, and some may be boring for adults. Nevertheless, if we are in the park with children, it is worth taking them to artistic shows at least once.

Stunt shows

The photo below is not from a scrapyard or a frame from a movie. It is a photo from the Extreme Show stunts at EnergyLandia, which are a real treat not only for motoring fans!

Extreme Show stunt shows at EnergyLandia

From mid-May until autumn, on every opening day of EnergyLandia, you can go to stunt shows with the participation of an experienced team of stuntmen. The repertoire usually includes: precision driving, driving on two wheels in a car and a 360-degree turn. For fans of two-wheelers, a motorcycle stunt has been prepared, and the whole show is complemented by numerous chases, drifts and pyrotechnic effects. An interesting fact is that a few years ago the son took part in the shows the owner of EnergyLandia – Eryk Goczal.

Personally, I think so. Extreme Show at EnergyLandia is a great escape for about half an hour from the rollercoasters and carousels. It is also a great opportunity to show something new to the children or family with whom we spend time in the park. So if we don’t mind loud noise, the roar of carsandthe smell of burning rubber, it is worth going to the Extreme zone, which is located behind the Jungle Adventure and Viking Ride attractions.

The shows are organized at different times, depending on the month and day. Usually the first show starts at 13:30 or 14:00. The next one takes place around 15:00-16:00, and the third one takes place around 17:30-19:00. During the holidays you can also count on an impressive show after dark, which starts at 8:30 p.m.

Planetarium

This inconspicuous attraction can be found near the Formula rollercoaster. It might seem like a technical building, but nothing could be further from the truth. Throughout the season, the Planetarium in EnergyLandia offers short screenings of documentaries displayed on a spherical screen.

The shows are „on demand”, so there is no fixed schedule. All you have to do is go to the Formula area and enter the Planetarium dome. Before entering, you can check what is in the repertoire. In recent years, a 30-minute film about the history of aviation has been shown, as well as a short, 3-minute film called „Roller Coaster”.

Planetarium repertoire at EnergyLandia

In my opinion, the quality of the image and animation playback leaves something to be desired, and the sound of the sound system is disturbed every few minutes by the passing of a Formula One car. Nevertheless, on colder and rainier days it is the perfect place to warm up and relax. The Planetarium in EnergyLandia is open to children aged 8 and over, although it seems to me that it shouldn’t be a big problem when our children have a little less.

Jumping into the water – Aqua Jump

In the summer season, right at the entrance to the rollercoaster Abyssus (in the zone Aqualantis), spectacular jumps into the water are organized. Specially trained acrobats, using a high platform, perform jumps into the water right at the foot of the rollercoaster.

In recent years, the Aqua Jump event has been held on summer weekends at set times: 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

As befits a large amusement park, an inseparable event are parades of artists and mascots, which are the symbol of EnergyLandia. During the high season, the parade takes place every day, and in other periods – on selected days (usually on Fridays, weekends and during special events).

The procession is always scheduled to start 15 minutes before the park closes. So if EnergyLandia is open until 8:00 p.m. on a given day, the parade starts at 7:45 p.m. The entire group of mascots and artists performing in EnergyLandia starts walking through the park from the Mayan rollercoaster, then passes the Anaconda attraction, and from behind the Formula restaurant building, heads down the main alley towards the park exit, passing the Monster House, Space Gun, Flying Swings and Energus.

Artists taking part in the parade usually enrich it with dance, acrobatics and light elements. In turn, EnergyLandia mascots often high-five guests. Without a doubt the most spectacular parades are those after dark, especially during Magic Night and Halloween.

Movie 7D

Not everyone knows that There is a cinema on the EnergyLandia premises, which is hidden in a building resembling an Egyptian pyramid. It is impossible not to notice it, because it is located between Bajkolandia and the Family Zone, close to the main entrance to the park.

The Pyramid Cinema 7D shows 3D movies on the big screen and combined with surround sound, moving seats and special effects, provide us with unforgettable experiences during sessions lasting several minutes.

The 7D cinema in EnergyLandia is open practically on all the park’s opening days, and the attractions are available to children from the age of 6. It is worth going to the screening on rainy or cold days, although in my opinion the quality of effects and animations in Pyramid Cinema 7D is not at the highest level.

Arcades and arcade games

There are eight Bartuś gaming arcades and seven Carnival Games points in EnergyLandia (arcade games). In arcades, we can buy a contactless card and top it up with a specific amount of money. Thanks to the card, we will be able to participate in any games in arcades throughout EnergyLandia. The better result we achieve in the game, the more points will be loaded onto our card. The points earned can later be exchanged for prizes.

While games provide fun, competition and are a break from other attractions, it is easy to get caught up in them, spending significant amounts of money on them. Unfortunately, gaming arcades are focused on making money, so we must be aware that for PLN 100 invested in games we will not get a material prize of the same value, or rather a much lower one – or none at all, if we are exceptionally unsuccessful in the games.

On the other hand arcade games (carnival games) they require from us not only a lot of skill and sensitivity, but also a bit of luck. They consist of throwing balls into the basket, throwing small balls into buckets or catching rubber ducks with a fishing rod. For winning, we can choose a large teddy bear. However, there is a catch – several such attempts cost even several dozen zlotys, and from my observations, most players lose.

There is however a way to increase your chances of winning, and it is completely legal. If you are interested in this, please contact me.

Special events at EnergyLandia

Kinder Party – June 1st

Every year, on Children’s Day (and often on nearby days as well), EnergyLandia organizes a Kinder Party. An event planned with the youngest guests in mind.

During the Kinder Party in previous years you could take part in Monopoly EnergyLandia – a giant version of the popular board game. Additionally, for puzzle lovers, EnergyLandia Puzzle was organized – huge puzzles that are a challenge for both children and adults.

Sweet Valley zone dedicated to children

For children, there is also Kids Flash Play With Mascots – games and fun in the company of park mascots, which develop children’s dexterity and creativity. In the Aqualantis zone, you can try your hand at jumping over a royal skipping rope in the company of the „royal couple”.

For fans of competition, the Kinder Party offered the opportunity to take part in the Wheel of Fortune, which offered a chance to win unique gadgets and souvenirs from EnergyLandia. The Kinder Party is also an opportunity for many meetings with the park’s mascots, snacks for children and numerous games and activities with animators.

Magic Night – selected Saturdays during the holidays

On several summer Saturdays, the park in Zator is open until 11:00 p.m. During the night fun in EnergyLandia all attractions are in operation. A real treat is riding Hyperion, Zadra or Abyssus in almost complete darkness.

In addition, during Magic Night there are night editions of many artistic shows, including the Fire Show and the stunt show Extreme Show. In turn in the water zone of Big Milk Water Park there is a Beach Party with a disco hosted by DJs known from Energy2000 clubs.

At 10:45 p.m. the night parade begins, enhanced with LED lights and fire effects. I have to admit that the night parade is impressive and it is worth staying until the end to see it. I also managed to watch the parade from the top of the Wonder Wheel. I have to admit that the view was phenomenal.

Is it worth going to Magic Night at Energylandia? Definitely yes, if we like night fun, are not afraid of standing in lines and are not people who like to go to bed early. Be sure to expect long lines and traffic jams when leaving the parking lot after the fun is over.

EnergyLandia's Birthday – July 14

On July 14 every year EnergyLandia in Zator celebrates its birthday. On this occasion, guests can count on a small treat in the form of a cupcake cake and champagne right after entering the park. On this day, numerous animations, competitions with prizes and special shows with the participation of Polish and foreign artists are organized. In previous years, the opening of new attractions was also celebrated on July 14, although these were isolated cases.

Coaster Day – August 16

August 16 every year is World Day rollercoasters. On this occasion, EnergyLandia organizes Coaster Day, during which we have the opportunity to obtain a Coaster Master „certificate”. All we need to do is collect the required number of stamps on the leaflet we receive from the employees on the rollercoasters. After collecting stamps from several coasters, we will be able to collect gifts in selected shops in the park.

Hyperion

In addition, on this day, the well-known and popular Wheel of Fortune in the park awaits us, which has already become a permanent element of this event. People who decide to take part in it will have the opportunity to compete for attractive gadgets and souvenirs. Thanks to this, they will leave the park not only with a head full of impressions, but also with unique gifts.

Halloween Time and Halloween Night – October

The entire Halloween period in Energylandia is a great time for all of you who like „terrible„fun, ghosts, nightmares and fun in haunted houses. And there are as many as 4 of them being launched in Energylandia. The first one is located in Family Zone in the Monster House attraction building, and 3 haunted houses in Energylandia are opening in Dragon Castle in the so-called Horror Zone.

The Dragon Castle Horror Zone is a specially designated part of the Dragon Castle: from the Lancelot Shop to the Green Cafe. The whole is blocked by a wall that clearly states that this is a place for people over 16 years of age. Of course, we can enter this zone with small children, but at our own risk. This is because in the Horror Zone we can meet ghosts and clowns with a chainsaw, who like to turn it on from time to time and chase girls. So here we will meet a headless apparition, ghosts with a head on a plate, a gallows and a grave. Thanks to this, it is scary and funny at the same time. Despite everything, there is nothing to be afraid of. Animators dressed as ghosts cannot touch us or interact with us physically. They can scare us, chase us, or frighten us. Although I have encountered a case where a girl chased by a ghost with a saw dropped her phone on a concrete block. It probably did not happen without damage.

The Horror Zone is also place, where there are entrances to the 3 best houses of fear: Scary Loft,Obsessive HouseiPsychoterria. All of them are available to people aged 16 and over and you can enter in groups of 4.

Winter Kingdom – November, December, January, February

The largest garden of lights in Poland, fireplaces and braziers, elves, Santa Claus, an ice rink with free skate rental, hundreds of Christmas trees and holiday decorations, bauble painting workshops, mulled wine and delicious pierogi, or borscht. And then a ride on Zadra and Hyperion. This is what happens in winter Winter Kingdom in EnergyLandia.

Artificial snow in EnergyLandia

From the end of November until the turn of January and February, on selected days and weekends, we can use most of the attractions in the park. We have almost the entire zone for children (Balkolandia and Sweet Valley), the Dragon Castle and most of the attractions in the Family and Extreme Zones. Please note that the water zone, all water attractions and Aqualantis are excluded from use.

In addition to the standard attractions, EnergyLandia in Winter Kingdom offers two large ice rinks with free skate rental. We can find them in the Dragon Castle zone.

In addition, we can go to meet Santa Claus, go snow tubing, or attend a gingerbread decorating workshop.
