Speed is a water rollercoaster, the only one in Energylandia, which is also the highest and fastest water rollercoaster in the world! A second identical copy can be found in Italy. At a speed of about 100 km/h we go down a 50-meter ramp straight into the water. In my personal life, ranking of the TOP 10 best attractions in Energylandia Speed takes a high sixth place!

Speed ride description
The boat leaves the station on a ramp and calmly sails along the waterway to the coaster tower. It enters the lift platform and vertically upwards the boat reaches the 50-meter peak of the drop. Then the coaster goes down the track at a 45-degree angle and passes through a short section of water. Speed enters a low elevation, turns left and performs a 360-degree right-handed spiral. It then falls into the water, generating a very strong splashing effect. At the same time, the water slows down the boat and it returns to the station.

My personal experiences while riding the Speed
Speed is not a typical rollercoaster where we have to hold on tight, experience strong G-forces and overcome numerous upside-down inversions. Contrary to appearances, Speed is a quiet roller coaster that is perfect for hot days.We start the route by water track, slowly reaching the tower. We are taken to the tower by a lift, where in the middle partour boat leans slightly to the side. But there is no need to worry about it, it is a normal phenomenon. At the top we can admire beautiful views of almost the entire Energylandia for a few seconds.

After reaching the top, we descend 50 meters at a relatively shallow angle. We don’t feel anything dangerous or extremely extreme here. The only thing that makes an impression is the speed. At the very bottom, the first water run awaits us, where we probably shouldn’t get splashed. The next sequence of the track is already above water. There are no strong sensations here either.

The best part of Speed is its ending. We fall into the water, simultaneously slowing down to a low speed. The splash effect is so strong that we can get completely soaked. I highly recommend the entry Where to sit on water attractions?

How long does the wait for Speed take?
We can get to Speed by heading left from the main courtyard of the park. Just behind Big Milk Water Park on the right is the entrance to Speed. At Speedway the queues depend largely on the weather. It can be assumed that the warmer it is, the more people will go to Speed. On cold and rainy days, you can be almost certain that you will be able to go to Speed without waiting.
It’s different on hot summer days. Queues for Speed can form from early morning (it is relatively close to the entrance to Energylandia). Therefore, you have to take into account a waiting time of up to 40-60 minutes. If the weather is good for the rest of the day, many people from the Water Park go to Speed to diversify their fun in the pools. For this reason, queues on hot summer days can last until late afternoon.
