TOP 10 best attractions for families in Energylandia

Energylandia is, above all, a family-friendly park with children, which offers dozens of attractions for entire families and their children. In Energylandia, we will find both carousels and roller coasters for the youngest children, for older children and teenagers who require a large dose of adrenaline. Not every parent is brave enough to go to Hyperion or Zadra with their children. Which is why I have prepared a list of the TOP 10 best attractions for entire families, for which children of different ages, their parents and older people can go. The following list is based on my feelings and experiences, the opinions of my son, mother and friends. I invite you to the list TOP 10 best attractions for whole families in Energylandia.

10 – Viking Ride – a leisurely cruise with elements of competition

Viking Ride is an 8-person cruise with Viking décor and water effects. The cruise itself is very peaceful, and the whole fun is shooting water cannons at other people on the boats. If there is no other boat with guests among us, we can also shoot water at the elements of the scenery. The crossing takes a good few minutes and during this time we can get really wet.

If we want to survive the battle as long as possible on the Viking Ride, and at the same time take less part in the water battle, it is best to sit on the left side of the boat. Additionally, on very warm days, a jet of water is shot into the air on the Viking Ride every few minutes. If we happen to sail past the shot, we can count on a light splash.

Of course Viking Ride is a great sightseeing attraction, especially on warm and hot days, but there is nothing stopping you from taking a cruise in spring or autumn. The attraction is open to children aged 2 years and over, and from 120 cm in height, without a guardian. Adults and elderly people can also comfortably sit in the boat.

9 – Wonder Wheel – beautiful views and relaxation

Wonder Wheel in Energylandia is the highest scenic attraction and the largest ferris wheel in Poland. Wonder Wheel premiered in 2022. From a height of 53 meters, we can calmly admire the panorama of the entire park. The best view Dragon Castle, Aqualantis, Sweet Valley, as well as attractions such as Anaconda or Mayan. In 6-person air-conditioned and fully closed gondolas we cover 2 full laps of the circle, being able to rest, relax and admire the views. I recommend it especially as a rest after stronger attractions, and also to take a break from running around the park.

Even infants can enjoy the Wonder Wheel, and children over 120 cm tall can go for a ride on their own. I recommend that the whole family take this trip in one of the 30 gondolas.

8 – Toffifee Gold Mine – great fun and a taste of strong sensations

The Gold Mine is a rafting trip on boats resembling wooden logs, which can accommodate up to 4 people. On the 180-meter route, there are two descents into the water at a speed of 30 km/h, first a lower one, then a higher one. Don’t count on a lot of splashing here, but we are guaranteed a light dose of cooling, especially on the second descent. The person sitting in the front gets the most splashes, as well as taller people. Adults should sit in the back and children in the front.

The Toffifee Gold Mine rafting tour is available to children aged 6 and over with a guardian or on their own from a height of 140 cm. I also recommend the boat trip for adults, but older people may have trouble getting off the boat after the trip. It is also worth being careful when getting off, because the floor is usually slippery and wet.

7 – Atlantis – a quiet trip, but with surprises

Atlantis is a smaller version of the pontoons available at Energylandia. The 500-meter-long river is crossed in small 4-person pontoons. There aren’t many places on the route where we could get splashed, but there are a few surprises. The first place is the exit from the platform, right after taking a seat in the pontoon. Sometimes some water gets into the pontoon, but we can only get our legs and seats wet.

Further on, the rafting is scenic and relaxing. Only a bit after the tunnel do the first effects begin. On very warm days, in two locations, really powerful sprinklers are turned on to generate water mist. We won’t get soaked, but we will be splashed quite a bit from head to toe. The current increases slightly after the sprinklers, but don’t worry. Just like on Jungle Adventure, On Atlantis it is forbidden to get up, and order is maintained by lifeguards.Children from 4 years of age can go on the rafting trip, and people from 140 cm tall can use Atlantis on their own. I recommend the attractions to parents with children, but older people should also have fun. When getting on and off, you should raise your legs relatively high, which is something that seniors should remember.

6 – Jungle Adventure – a stronger version of the rafting

Jungle Adventure is a rafting trip in 8-person pontoons down a 486-meter-long raging river at a speed of 20 km/h. Along the route of the attraction, there are numerous water effects and surprises, including water jumps and waterfalls. I will add right away that in spring and autumn the water flow is definitely smaller, and additional effects in the form of waterfalls are turned off. As a result, we emerge from almost every crossing unsplattered.

The situation changes on warm and hot days. Then the current is increased to the maximum and, in addition, the waterfalls are activated. The first time we may get splashed is a few moments after we start the trip. On one of the water drops, the water can splash so much that it can even reach our heads. The biggest surprise awaits us at the very end of the trip, just behind camera taking a picture. The last of the waterfalls awaits us there. The pontoon likes to sail under it, and the person who happens to be on the side of the rock, it will be completely covered with water from above. Guaranteed to get soaked, sometimes even more than on the Speed rollercoaster.

Please also remember that standing up is prohibited on Jungle Adventure! Do not change seats, do not stand up to avoid contact with water, or try to walk on the pontoon. In extreme cases, this can even end up capsizing the entire pontoon. Two lifeguards are on duty at Jungle Adventure. If they see you standing up, they will warn you with a whistle.

Jungle Adventure is available to children from 120 cm tall with a guardian and 140 cm tall alone. This is definitely an attraction for the whole family, even older people will have no problem getting on and off. The pontoons are large, comfortable and completely safe.

5 – Boomerang – the family roller coaster that goes backwards

Boomerang is the first rollercoaster on my list TOP 10 best attractions for families in Energylandia. It’s not the weakest of rollercoasters, but it’s not one of the most extreme either. Boomerang can only look dangerous from the outside, and that’s because of the so-called blind track, which ends at some point, and the coaster returns backwards to the direction of travel.

Rollercoaster Boomerang
Rollercoaster Boomerang

After taking our seats in the carriages, we are pulled back up to the main hill. After a while, the brakes are released and the fun begins. The descent is the fastest moment of the entire ride. Then we go through a few turns and brake at the end of the track. The train returns backwards to the station at a slightly slower pace. The experience is truly pleasant and balanced, and the journey time is relatively short. Children from 100 cm tall with a guardian or from 120 cm tall without a guardian will have a lot of fun on the ride. Boomerang is also a great roller coaster for less adventurous parents or even older people. The experience is not intense, and at most you might get dizzy when riding backwards.

4 – Light Explorers – A More Powerful Version of Boomerang

Just off the podium I placed the second Boomerang-style rollercoaster. It is also a roller coaster that goes first forward and then backward. However, its length and sensations are slightly greater and better than those on Boomerang. Light Explorers can be found in the Aqualantis zone, and is available to children from 100 cm tall with a guardian or from 120 cm tall alone. Of course, there is nothing stopping parents and grandparents from riding the rollercoaster.

We start the ride by reversing up the main hill. Then we go down at top speed and overcome several gentle bends to the left and right, as well as hills generating weak but pleasant positive and negative overloads We finish the ride at the end of the track and at a slower speed we return backwards to the station.

3 – Śmiejżelki Energuś – TOP 1 among children’s trains

The top three in the rankingTOP 10 best attractions for families in Energylandia Energuś is taking over. This is the first one after Hyperion rollercoaster passed by guests right after entering Energylandia. It is easy to spot the orange and green rollercoaster in the zone Fairyland, which is used by children and adults in such large numbers. It is also undoubtedly one of the strongest rides for the youngest, becauseIt can be used by children from 100 cm tall with a guardian and 120 cm tall alone.

Rollercoaster Energuś

The ride is relatively intense for a children’s coaster. After reaching the top of the hill, we quickly descend and make many left and right turns. The ride provides a lot of pleasant experiences, and in case of low guest attendance, the staff runs the ride twice, so we can have even more fun. The only downside of Energus is slight vibrations and jerks when going down, but they add charm to the whole ride. I also encourage adults and grandparents to take part in the ride, as they should also have fun with their children.

2 – Anaconda – something to cool down and have fun

Anaconda is undoubtedly one of the strongest water attractions in Energylandia. Its parameters are second only to the rollercoaster Speed. Nevertheless, it is a great attraction for entire families, where we sit in a large and spacious boat and then float down two relatively large hills resembling waterfalls. From the outside, it may seem like an extreme attraction, but it is open to entire families with children over 120 cm tall and accompanied by a guardian. Contrary to appearances, the trip is short and pleasant, and the strongest thing we experience is splashing water. Interestingly, usually when going down a smaller hill, the splash is stronger than when going up a higher hill.

The Anaconda can also be used by older people, but it is worth helping the younger ones when getting on and off, because the boat at the station is constantly moving. This means that you need to get on and off the boat quickly and efficiently. It is also worth being careful on the jetty leading to Anaconda. We can get completely wet on it if we happen to be walking over a boat that is going down.

1 – RMF Dragon – a rollercoaster for the whole family

A well-deserved first place in my ranking TOP 10 best attractions for families in Energylandia occupies the RMF Dragon rollercoaster. Dragon is classified as a family rollercoaster, but unlike Energuś, Light Explorers Team or Boomerag, it significantly increases the adrenaline level and provides a lot of fun from the ride. On a 453-meter-long track we race at a speed of 76 km/h and also descend a 20-meter drop. During the ride we will also experience quite reasonable overloads of 3.5 g.

The Dragon rollercoaster can be used by children from 120 cm tall with a guardian, and from 130 cm tall on their own. It is worth adding that Dragon is the first inverted rollercoaster in Poland. This means that the track of the roller coaster is above us. Our legs hang completely freely, which increases the experience. At first glance, RMF Dragon looks like an extreme roller coaster, which is why many people are very afraid before their first ride. It was no different with me and my son. However, there is nothing to be afraid of. Despite its intensity, the ride is a lot of fun, extremely safe and really enjoyable. You just have to break through. I also don’t see any contraindications for seniors to use Dragon. My almost 70-year-old mother considers Dragon her favorite rollercoaster at Energylandia!
