Using the 2024 opening calendar as an example we can play in Legendia for 137 days.In Energylandia, on the other hand, for as many as 214 days (including 12 days in January and February 2025). This is almost 80 days more in favor of the park from Zator.
Energylandia is open practically from April to January. However, in some months we can only have fun on weekends and selected days (this applies to April, October, November, December, January and February). In addition, opening hours change with the season. In spring, the park is open for 8 hours a day (from 10 am to 6 pm), in summer for 10 hours (from 10 am to 8 pm), and in winter for 7 hours (from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm). In addition, during the holiday season, Energylandia organizes a night fun called Magic Night on several weekends in July and August (from 10 am to 11 pm).

Legendia is open from late March to October. In March, April, May, September and October we can play only on selected days for 8-9 hours a day (from 11 am to 7 pm or from 11 am to 8 pm). In turn, June, July and August are months when Legendia is open for us every day. Then we can usually play for 10 hours a day (from 10 am to 8 pm) with a few exceptions. Similarly to Energylandia, Legendia is also organizing a night of fun. It takes place on selected Saturdays in June, July, August and even September. During the Legendia at night event the park is open until midnight.
Availability of attractions in Energylandia and Legendia
Energylandia can be briefly described as follows: water attractions are open all the time except for winter, and the rest of the attractions are open all year round. The exception was the winter of 2022/2023 and 2023/2024, when the Aqualantis zone was closed. Failures of the rides and attractions in Energylandia are extremely rare. It is worth remembering: all attractions are open exactly at the same hours as the park is open.

In Legendia it is different and unfortunately in a negative way. The fact that the park is open from April to October does not mean that in April we will ride Lech or Diamond River. Some attractions are only launched in May. What’s more, most attractions in Legendia are only open at specific times, which do not coincide with the park’s opening hours. Therefore, even if we enter the park at 10 a.m., we will have to wait 30 minutes for a ride on Lech.

Also remember about the winter version of Legendia. In winter, Legendia turns into a garden of lights, during which most attractions are simply closed. You can count on fun only on a few of the weakest carousels. It is different in Energylandia, where in winter you can include Zadra, Hyperion, and other strong attractions. Usually, only water attractions are closed.

Trains in Energylandia and Legendia
Without a doubt – more guests come to Energylandia. It doesn’t matter if it’s low or high season. A much larger offer, greater possibilities and better attractions have a significant impact on the guests’ decisions. It also has a great influence on the visitors better price-quality ratio in the case of Energylandia. However, for a short afternoon trip, residents of the Silesian agglomeration definitely prefer Legendia. The Silesian park can be easily walked around in 2-3 hours, and the drive is shorter and easier.

These statistics translate into queues and waiting times for the best attractions. During the high season during the tourist voucher period, waiting times for Zadra, Hyperion and other top attractions often exceeded 60 minutes. Record holders stood in lines for 2 hours. In 2023 and 2024, there were no such gigantic lines. There were 40-minute lines, but only in the second half of the holidays and in excellent weather. Less popular attractions in the same period can be entered after a 10-20 minute wait, and there are days when you can enter some attractions almost without waiting.

The situation is completely different during the off-season. In my opinion the perfect time to visit Energylandia is spring. It is already relatively warm, water attractions are open, the first pools are available, and the waiting time for the best rollercoasters is usually 0 or, in the worst case, 10 minutes. After the holidays, despite children returning to schools and the increasingly bad weather, the attendance in the Zator park is usually good and you have to be patient while waiting for the attractions. In winter, on the other hand, we have a guarantee of fun without any queues.

Legendia usually experiences its siege during the holidays, night editions of Legendia at night, and also during favorable weather in high season. Unfortunately, the length of the queues is influenced by the small number of attractions. As a result, we can get stuck in a queue for several dozen minutes to Lech, Dolina Jagi or Diamond River. During the week and off-season, it is definitely more relaxed and you can usually have fun without waiting long for attractions.

How to check waiting times and availability of attractions before departure?
Energylandia is the only one that provides real-time waiting times for attractions. This also gives us insight into failures and out-of-service attractions. These in turn they break down extremely rarely, so when going to Energylandia you don’t have to wonder if all the carousels and roller coasters are open. You can check the waiting time and availability of attractions in the Energylandia application the directly live on our blog. In addition, there are many screens in the park showing the waiting time. Even the sidewalks have an approximate waiting time painted on them, depending on where the queue ends. It is worth noting that Energylandia tends to underestimate the time given. For example, 10 minutes on the screen does not always mean that we will be entering the attraction in 10 minutes. The time may be slightly longer.

In Legendia it is different. Outside the high season, many attractions are closed., and those that should be active may have a technical break or failure. Fortunately on the Legendia website we can easily check before departure which attractions are currently open. The only thing missing is an app or a website with waiting times. The times to several of the best attractions are presented on small screens in a few places in Legendia. In addition, the readability of these displays leaves much to be desired.
