During a whole day of fun in an amusement park, sooner or later we will get hungry and thirsty. If we did not bring our own snacks and drinks, we will have to use the food points in the park. In this part of the EnergyLandia vs Legendia comparison, we look at the food offer, the quality of the meals and their prices.
Gastronomy at EnergyLandia
On the territory of EnergyLandia there is as many as 67 catering points Among them, at our disposal is 6 large restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, pubs with alcohol, fast food points (burgers, fries, kebabs), ice cream parlors, and even doughnut shops and bakeries. Without any problems, on the EnergyLandia premises we can eat a classic Polish dinner, as well as a burger, kebab, oriental dishes, zapiekanka or pizza.

In many smaller points we can also easily buy hot and cold drinks, Italian ice cream, ice cream on scoops and sticks, and even low and high-proof alcohol.

There is also no shortage of various snacks: from churros which are great in my opinion, to doughnuts, cotton candy, popcorn and other sweets. The offer is really very extensive, although one may have the impression that it is mainly fast food dominates.
No wonder. Usually we don’t want to waste time sitting down to a table and having a two-course dinner, but just eat quickly and continue the fun.

The gastronomic offer is expanded with seasonal dishes in autumn and during the Winter Kingdom. During autumn we can taste grilled dishes, and in winter pierogi, roasts and mulled wine.

I had the opportunity to try different dishes at EnergyLandia. Among them were kebabs, pizzas, hamburgers, chicken pieces, casseroles, roasts and many others.
Most of the products are mainly at least correct in taste and quality. Certainly not everyone will like greasy chicken wings, or burgers with medium-rare chicken cutlet, or even pizza that seems a bit „cardboard-like”. But looking at it objectively, when eating „out” also not every place has satisfactory quality of products.
A huge plus is the fact that most of the gastronomic products in EnergyLandia are prepared by themselves. These are not ready-made market products, but prepared by chefs employed by the park.

My favorite signature product of the park is scoop ice cream, especially the vanilla flavor, which, among other things, can be purchased right next to Abyssus. I admit that I have eaten a lot of vanilla ice cream in my life, both in Poland and abroad. These from EnergyLandia are simply the best. On warm days, vanilla ice cream in the park is my must-have purchase.

It is also worth bearing in mind that outside the high season, not all catering outlets are open. In winter, ice cream shops are usually closed, and in spring, not all restaurants serve dinner. Smaller cafes, fast food and pizzerias will also be open. The full gastronomic offer starts only during the high season.
Moving on to the prices themselves – it’s not cheap. For a kebab in dough or a bun we have to pay about 30 PLN, for a waffle with whipped cream about 20 PLN, and for a small Italian ice cream 10 PLN. For a second course with meat, potatoes and vegetables well over 50 PLN, and for a bucket with a few pieces of chicken and fries close to 60 PLN. The cheapest pizza costs around PLN 40, and toast with cheese around PLN 20. Drinks are not the cheapest either. Half a liter of water costs almost PLN 10, and for a coffee we will pay closer to PLN 20. The prices given are from the turn of the 2023/2024 season and will be updated if possible in the 2025 season.

Gastronomy at Legendia
Due to its smaller size, the Silesian amusement park does not have as many catering outlets as EnergyLandia. We actually have one restaurant at our disposal (Oberża Lecha behind the Lech rollercoaster) and a pizzeria in the main courtyard. Apart from them, there are several smaller points in the park, with drinks or ice cream and other snacks, as well as a small buffet in Jama Bazyliszka.

Similarly to EnergyLandia, also in Legendia many of these points are simply closed and this even in high season. I have the impression that only on warm summer weekends do we have access to the full gastronomic offer.
The offer includes both classic dinner dishes such as pork chops, meatballs in sauce, pierogi and fish, as well as pizza, casseroles, burgers and pancakes. On warm days, you can also buy ice cream and cold drinks.

Product prices are not among the lowest. For a casserole you have to pay about PLN 20, for a waffle with whipped cream almost PLN 20, and for a burger with fries and a drink over PLN 50. The prices of cold and hot drinks are comparable to those known from EnergyLandia.
