Choco Chip Creek

Choco Chip Creek is a steel family rollercoaster, Mine Train type. It was manufactured by the Dutch company Vekoma and put into operation in EnergyLandia on April 27, 2024. Choco Chip Creek is located in the zone Sweet Valley and is its flagship attraction. This is one of the longest rollercoasters in EnergyLandia. Its parameters in terms of length are second only to Abysuss, Zadra and Hyperion. In my personal ranking of the TOP 10 best attractions of EnergyLandia takes a high seventh place!

The cost of building the Choco Chip Creek rollercoaster was approximately 45 million zlotys.

Choco Chip Creek Ride Description

After leaving the station, the train turns right 90 degrees and starts climbing the first of three hills using a chain drive. After reaching the top, it goes down a right-handed spiral, then goes through two more spirals (left-handed and right-handed). Right at the end of the right-handed spiral on the right side a camera is installed to take pictures. After the spirals, the train cars overcome a low elevation, a right and left curve and are braked. Then, after overcoming a left turn of 135 degrees starts the second of three chain lifts(left twin to first).

After reaching the top, the cars go down a symmetrical spiral to the first one, then turn right 180 degrees and go through a second left-handed spiral. Then the rollercoaster goes up the hill in a right-handed spiral and is braked. Now the coaster goes through a left turn of 90 degrees and begins the last (third) ascent to the hill using a chain hoist.

After reaching the highest point, the train goes down a right-handed spiral, then turns left 180 degrees and goes up a hill. Finally, the train goes through two right and left 180-degree turns, goes up a hill and goes down a tight right-handed spiral. The cars are braked and return to the station, before which they go through a 90-degree right turn.

My personal experience while riding Choco Chip Creek

Choco Chip Creek ranks high in TOP 10 best attractions in EnergyLandia For this reason, I can confidently say that this is one of the better rollercoasters in the park. Of course, you have to be aware that Choco Chip Creek is inferior to many other coasters in many ways – there are no inversions, the G-forces are not high and the turn configuration is repeatable.

After each ascent, the rollercoaster overcomes many long, but also tightening spirals. Thanks to them the wagons lean strongly, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right. This guarantees us an interesting effect of strong tilt, as if driving almost sideways on the track.

Thanks to the fact that the coaster has one of the longest tracks of all the rollercoasters in the park, after finishing the ride I had no feeling of dissatisfaction. A long ride allows you to enjoy all the effects, and those repeated many times and similar to the previous ones give us the opportunity to feel satisfaction.

Choco Chip Creek Main Double Rise

I can’t help but say that Choco Chip Creek is obviously a family train, so it doesn’t provide us with a large dose of adrenaline. The reception is somewhat spoiled by moments when it jerks more strongly, or when the carriages go into short vibrations.

How long does the wait for Choco Chip Creek take?

Due to the availability of Choco Chip Creek from 120 cm height, it is actually one of the better rollercoasters in EnergyLandia from 6-7 years of age. For this reason, during the season, long queues can form at Choco Chip Creek with waiting times lasting up to several dozen minutes.AlthoughChoco Chip Creek has three complete lineups, they are only displayed when there is a large turnout. When there is only one train on the track and taking into account the long travel time, the waiting time for one’s turn – I have the impression – is very long. In addition, one must add the long walk from the entrance to the building to the station.

If you want to ride Choco Chip Creek during your vacation, let’s go there after it opens, around 12 o’clock. We can then count on a short queue, or even entry without waiting. Although at the station itself we have small open shelves for small personal items, I strongly encourage you to leave all your belongings in the deposit lockers, of which there are really a lot in the attraction building. This will shorten the time of loading and unloading the carriages, which will have a positive impact on the waiting time for other people.

The entrance to Choco Chip Creek is almost at the beginning of the Sweet Valley area. You need to get to the main gate of Sweet Valley and enter the area. Immediately to the right you will see the attraction building. In its central part there is an entrance to the station. After completing the ride, you exit through the gift shop further on in the building.
