EnergyLandia's development plans for 2025 and beyond

EnergyLandia in Zator is one of the fastest growing amusement parks in the world and of course in Poland. We should really be proud that in Poland we have such a modern, extensive and world-class amusement park. Many fans of rollercoasters and theme parks from all over the world envy us that new things appear in Energylandia every year. It must be emphasized that not just any kind of new ones. So, what are EnergyLandia’s development plans for 2025 and beyond?

Many amusement parks around the world remain unchanged and have their glory days behind them. Just listen to industry YouTubers or even read reviews of other large amusement parks on Google. A good example is Disneyland in Paris. Who among us did not dream of a trip to the land of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as a child? Another example is our oldest amusement park in Chorzów – Legendia. For decades, nothing special has happened there. In the last dozen or so years, we can only distinguish the construction of Lech Coaster, Jama Bazyliszka and two water attractions. Many attractions still remember the deep communist era.

Today, if you look at it objectively, EnergyLandia is already several levels higher than Disneyland near Paris. Of course, the famous park in France definitely has a reputation and atmosphere, but that’s only because of the license for Disney fairy tales and characters (by the way, EnergyLandia mascots are also great). The number of new, better attractions, and in addition a larger area and modernity, falls to our Polish EnergyLandia. The proof of this can be, for example, the opinions of people who have been both here and here.

How has EnergyLandia developed in previous years?

On July 14, 2014, the opening of the amusement park in Zator took place. Only a year later, the first two inverted rollercoasters in Poland debuted: RMF Dragon and Mayan. In 2016, the first launch rollercoaster in Poland debuts called Formula, and the Water Park is also opened. 2017 is the premiere of the first shuttle coaster in Poland called Boomerang and two smaller coasters Happy Loops, and Circus Coaster. Incidentally, that same year the park announced plans to build three more large coasters.

A year later, the first large themed zone on a world level debuts. We are talking about the Dragon Castle, with the Draken rollercoaster, Frida and one of the highest hybrid coasters Zadra. To this day, Zadra ranks high among the best roller coasters in the world!

In the same year, construction of the seventh Sweet Valley zone begins and the water park is expanded.

This will make it the largest facility of this type in EnergyLandia.

In the following years, the development of the EnergyLandia park is to take place in five stages, two of which include creation of two more thematic zones. In addition it is planned to build an indoor water park and a four-star hotel. When the indoor water park is built, it can be assumed that EnergyLandia will be partially open all year round!

The first tilt coaster in Poland will unfortunately NOT be built for now

Update: The development of the first tilt rollercoaster in Poland has been at least put on hold, if not completely canceled.

A few years ago it was a certainty that the first tilt coaster in Poland would be built in EnergyLandia. The rollercoaster was to be produced by Vekoma, the manufacturer of Abyssus, Formula, and Mayan, among others. The investment cost was to be over PLN 51 million, and the coaster itself was to be located behind Zadra.
