What's new in the 2023 season at Energylandia?

April 1, 2023 – Saturday — 10:00 a.m. – exactly on this day and at this time the 2023 season began at Energylandia in Zator. We have collected for you the most important changes and novelties in the Energylandia park for 2023.

Sweet Valley

Energylandia confirmed earlier this year that the main novelty of 2023 will be the new Sweet Valley zone. Unfortunately, we still don’t know the exact date. We assume that the opening may take place on June 1 (Children’s Day) or on the park’s ninth birthday (July 14).

The infrastructure and attractions of the zone seem to be completed. All the carousels and rollercoasters are installed. However, construction work is still ongoing at Sweet Valley Town Hall Theatre, a huge auditorium that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.

However, the unfinished thematization of the track is still a concern. Choco Chip Creek. One of the tunnels is not lined and only its metal structure is visible. We do not know whether it will be finished before the zone opens or whether it will remain that way after the opening and the work will be moved to the winter period.

Aqualantis

Aqualantis zone was closed during Winter Kingdom 2022/23. This was due to finishing works. This way, we have 4 main changes in Aqualantis:

What’s New 2023 at Aqualantis

1. A brick fountain in the middle of the square in front of the entrance to the zone.

2. Fully themed Tidal Wave Twister carousel track.

3. Decorative walls approximately halfway through the Grotto Expedition boat trip.

4. We’ll probably finally get water under Abyssus! Up until now, this area was covered with fine gravel/sand.

Dragon Zone

Just behind the tunnel, between Sweet Valley and Dragon Town, a new food stand has been set up. We can buy popcorn in three flavors in a bucket for PLN 13 and cotton candy on a stick (small PLN 12, large PLN 15). So far, cotton candy in Energylandia has been sold in small cups, so it’s a positive change.

At the entrance to the Wonder Wheel there is a parking for prams. This is a nod to parents with toddlers who previously had to abandon their strollers on the grass near the mill wheel.

The Smoczy Gród zone has received a large tree planting at the back of Zadra. The mini forest is clearly visible from the side of national road number 44.

Parking

In February, I noticed roadworks at the exit gates from the main road parking lot. The parking guardhouse has been moved. It is also possible that the exit from the far left lane has been better profiled. In addition, the bends of the access road right next to Hyperion have been widened and better profiled.

Zator Amusement Park Station

Energylandia now has a dedicated train station called Zator Amusement Park. It is located north of the Mayan rollercoaster, exactly 1100 meters from the entrance to the park. Currently, work is underway at the station on the parking lot and/or platforms for the service of the choo-choo.
