Can obese, overweight or non-standard body types use the attractions at Energylandia? This question may be asked by all of you who are simply heavier than the average person. Being overweight will probably not be a big problem. But being tall combined with being overweight can make it difficult to attach yourself to smaller attractions (like Mars, Draken).
People who are obese may also have greater problems on the large attractions at Energylandia. It is assumed that if our hip circumference is approximately 115 cm, the safety devices should fit us without any major difficulties. Above this circumference, problems may already appear on Hyperion and Zadra. Still, there should be no problem on Formula, Mayan, or Abyssus.
To sum up: can obese people use the attractions? There is no upper weight limit. Body structure, especially wide hips, may prove to be a challenge. Therefore, let’s assume that if our hip circumference is up to 115 cm, we will be able to take advantage of every attraction.
What if obese people don’t fit through the safety features at Energylandia?
Unfortunately, I witnessed the fastening of a lady and a gentleman on Zadra, where both seemed to have much too much in the girth. While in the case of the gentleman it was possible to fasten it, in the case of the lady the problem was greater. Two employees were „leaning” on the safety devices with all their might to push them in, and the operator was looking at the console to see if the safety device had engaged.
The lady’s face, the laughter of the people waiting and the looks of the other employees said clearly: this is not an attraction for this lady. I don’t want to know what thoughts this lady was struggling with at that moment. It was certainly both embarrassing and unpleasant for her. The attempt to lock you up at Zadra ended in failure and you were asked to leave Zadra station.
I will admit that my hip circumference is about 117 cm and I have no problem using all the attractions. I even have the impression that there is still a lot of space on Zadra and Hyperion. Besides, I have seen people much bigger than me and they were also fastened without any problems.
