133 vs 41<\/strong> – these numbers speak for themselves. But not only numbers. Just walk around Energylandia and then Legendia to see the abyss that separates these two parks<\/strong>. And I don’t mean the size of both parks, but the quality and modernity of the entertainment devices. In Energylandia, the focus was mainly on new attractions from global manufacturers, such as Vekoma or Intamin. In Legendia, on the other hand, apart from literally 4 modern and new devices, you won’t find any carousels and roller coasters at a world level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rollercoastery w Energylandii i Legendii<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 133 attractions in Energylandia include 20 rollercoasters<\/strong>, of which only a few are old-type devices imported from abroad. All the others are models from leading manufacturers: serially produced versions, as well as completely unique designs manufactured especially for the park in Zator. Among the serially produced are the following trains: RMF Dragon, Mayan<\/a>, Speed<\/a> (the largest water rollercoaster in the world<\/strong>) or Viking, and among the unique ones Hyperion<\/a> (TOP2 highest rollercoasters in Europe<\/strong>), Zadra<\/a> (TOP3 best rollercoasters in the world<\/strong>) Whether Abyssus<\/a>. The entire list of roller coasters is complemented by many others: Formula, Choco Chip Creek, Frida, Ekipa Light Explorers, Honey Harbor, Energu\u015b and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Legendia has only one decent and modern rollercoaster.<\/strong> It’s about Lech Coaster<\/strong> by Vekoma. This is also a model manufactured according to an individual project, so it is in vain to look for another identical copy in the world. And this is where the list of decent rollercoasters in Legendia ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Devil’s Loop from Legendia comes from 1988 in Great Britain and was moved to Poland in 2007. I’ve heard rumors that the British were going to scrap the rollercoaster and the Poles bought it for next to nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third roller coaster in Legendia is Dream Hunters Society from over 20 years ago<\/strong>, which looks more like a scaffolding than a roller coaster. This is a device from a previous era and is more often found in mobile amusement parks than in large amusement parks. The effects and comfort of the ride on this device leave much to be desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carousels in Energylandia and Legendia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Amusement parks are of course not just roller coasters. Carousels and various types of amusement devices can be found in every park in the world. Legendia and Energylandia are no different. The park in Zator boasts nearly 50 attractions of this type, while Legendia has less than 30 <\/strong>(subtracting playgrounds and amusement arcades, which Legendia treats as attractions, while Energylandia does not list them as the main entertainment facilities).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Energylandia, among the carousels and entertainment attractions, we will find both extreme devices and calm ones for families and small children.<\/strong> We have, among others, the highest mill wheel in Poland, a free fall tower, Space Gun, Space Booster, Aztec Swing and Apocalypto for the bravest, a whole host of water attractions such as Anaconda, Jungle Adventure, Atlantis and Gold Mine. There are also dozens of devices for the youngest and scenic and recreational attractions. Most of them are modern devices from a few years ago<\/strong>, and only a few of them can be criticized for coming from the times before Energylandia was established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Legendia, unfortunately, we will find attractions dating back to the 50s and 60s <\/strong>last century, i.e. from the time of the creation of the park in Chorz\u00f3w. Among them are the famous Airplanes, which have undergone a thorough renovation, but capacity and modernity are not at a high level<\/strong>. Sightseeing attractions and attractions for the youngest are also, in my opinion, devices created with mobile amusement parks in mind rather than stationary amusement parks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Division into thematic zones<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The variety of entertainment devices between Energylandia and Legendia is enormous. In Energylandia the park has been divided into thematic zones with a relatively clear arrangement of attractions<\/strong> If we came with children, we go to Bajkolandia<\/a> and we have about 20 devices adapted to toddlers. For whole families we have Family Zone<\/a> i Extreme<\/a>, as well as thematic zones such as Aqualantis<\/a>, Dragon Castle<\/a> and Sweet Valley<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Legendia, the division into zones is only conventional<\/strong>, and the devices are scattered throughout the park. It seems to me that their arrangement is often quite random, and some old devices simply cannot be moved to another place. In addition, the gaps between attractions are large and it seems that there are only a few attractions in the entire park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Energylandia the feelings are completely different.<\/strong> In the starting zones the attractions are very densely located<\/strong>, so that after finishing the ride on one carousel we can immediately continue the fun on the other. In turn, there is more space in the newest thematic zones, where gastronomy and public areas intertwine with attractions. There, the gaps are indeed greater, but the free space has been developed in a way that is understandable and legible for guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pools and water attractions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Several hectares of Legendia’s surface are occupied by a lake<\/strong>, filling the entire central part of the amusement park. Unfortunately, you will not find any bathing areas, beaches or water attractions on the lake. In the past, you could rent a boat here and sail on the water, now on some days you can take a ride on a water motorboat for an additional fee<\/strong>. In addition to the lake, Legendia also has two other water attractions: a pontoon ride on a rushing artificial river and a slide into the water on large boats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand Energylandia in Zator has much more to offer in its water offer<\/strong>. We won’t find a nice lake there, but we do have several large, modern and heated swimming pools<\/strong>. All of them are equipped with several dozen pool attractions: slides, traps and pontoons. These are attractions known from large water parks, which are available in Energylandia for the price of the same ticket<\/strong> about the amusement park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So we can spend a few hours on rollercoasters and the rest of the day on one of 7,000 sunbeds, in the pool or going crazy on attractions the largest outdoor water park in Poland<\/strong>. In addition to the pool area, Energylandia has many water attractions. The world’s largest water rollercoaster Speed<\/strong>, two long and rushing rivers for rafting, a boat slide into the water, a log slide into the water (in two versions: for children and families), quiet romantic and relaxing pontoons for lovers, or various battle attractions, where while floating on the water we shoot at other boats from water cannons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
