In 1991, in Przytkowice near Krakow, the Holiday Disco club was established. After a few years, in 1998, it was renamed one of the most famous clubs in Poland Energy 2000<\/a><\/strong> Only a dozen or so years later, a second club under the Energy 2000 banner opens in the centre of Katowice. It still has it today<\/strong> he is the largest dance floor in Poland<\/strong>. What’s more, both clubs are the only ones in Poland and one of the few in the world that can boast the highest quality certificate ISO 9001. In addition, the biggest stars from the world of club music have been guests there <\/strong>and TV programs were produced by TVN, MTV and Eska TV stations. To this day, these are some of the most popular clubs in Poland, and their success is due to, among others, Marek Goczal<\/strong> \u2014 founder of EnergyLandia. Who else is the owner of the amusement park in Zator?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carpenter, shoe soles and energy drinks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Marek Gocza\u0142 is an entrepreneur<\/strong>, who has tried many businesses since his youth. He is a carpenter by trade, but has never worked in the profession, because he had a knack for his own business since his youth. Already at the age of 12<\/strong> in the fire station in Zebrzydowice near Kalwaria Zebrzydowska he was standing at the disco’s gate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few years later, together with his brother, they decided to open a local disco with a bar in Przytkowice. Initially, the premises had an area of 200 square meters, but the interest contributed to the systematic expansion in 1998 the club was renamed Energy 2000<\/strong>. Today, it has an area of 3,000 square meters, making it one of the largest in Poland<\/strong>! Together with the club founded in 2011 in Katowice, they have been on the market for several decades, becoming the most recognizable disco in the country! Considering that in the last 20 years most discos and clubs have disappeared from the market, this feat deserves all the more praise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside the Energy 2000 clubs Marek Gocza\u0142 once employed 140 people in a factory called Techniko producing shoe soles<\/strong>. Unfortunately, the company was closed due to the growing competition from Chinese products. In turn, with the growing popularity of the club In 2000, Marek Gocza\u0142 launched the production of an energy drink called „Energy 2000”<\/strong>. After two years, the rights to produce the drink were sold to another company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inspiration to build EnergyLandia came from children<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Marek Gocza\u0142, running a shoe business, had many business contacts with Italy. One of the business partners had a seat in Garda, near the Gardaland amusement park. Mr. Marek visited him with his wife Agata and children Klaudia and Eryk. During their stay, Mr. Marek’s children asked their parents, Why don’t we have such an amusement park in Poland?<\/em><\/strong> This was apparently the impetus for Marek Gocza\u0142 to explore the amusement park industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marek Gocza\u0142 visited several other theme parks. He became familiar with the prices of attractions that, as it turned out, were beyond his reach.<\/strong> Despite everything, the current owner of EnergyLandia decided to try his luck and already in 2009 submitted an application for co-financing from European funds. After several corrections to the application and 3 years, he managed to receive co-financing in the amount of PLN 42 million (this was an amount constituting 68% of the value of the entire project).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From carp to rollercoasters in Zator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thus, the search for a large area located between two large provincial cities \u2013 Katowice and Krak\u00f3w \u2013 began.<\/strong> It fell on 26 hectare plot<\/a> belonging to the State Treasury, located on the western side of Zator. Interestingly, at that time on the other side of Zator there was already an amusement park called Zatorland<\/strong> (until 2011 under the name DinoZatorLand). The founder of the moving dinosaur park is Leszek \u0141yso\u0144, who is also known for serving as president of the Miniature Park in Cz\u0119stochowa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that time it might have seemed that Zator, a town known for its carp and slowly becoming associated with the largest dinosaur park, „would not accommodate” two amusement parks. That was when Marek Gocza\u0142 started a conversation with the \u0141yso\u0144 family. He convinced them that opening another amusement park in this location would have a positive impact on the image of Zator in the whole of Poland<\/strong>. Thanks to the construction of EnergyLandia, Zator serves as an entertainment center in southern Poland. In turn, the offer of both parks complements each other, and does not compete with each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the fields near Zator, the first shovel for the construction of what is currently the largest amusement park in Poland was turned in 2013. And already On July 14, 2014, EnergyLandia was officially opened<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From EnergyLandia to the Dakar Rally routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the season, EnergyLandia hosts stunt shows with cars, motorcycles and trucks called EnergyLandia Extreme Show<\/strong>.Among the stuntmen is Eryk Gocza\u0142<\/strong> \u2014 the son of the park owner. The passion for motorsport in the Gocza\u0142a family is greater than it might seem. Marek Gocza\u0142 tried his hand at rallying 20 years ago<\/strong> driving quads. The owner’s brother, Mr. Micha\u0142 Gocza\u0142, also tried his hand at rallying, this time in 2019. Their passion for cars led both brothers to take part in the Dakar Rally in 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In their debut in 2021, they competed in the light SSV class. Micha\u0142 Gocza\u0142 took fourth place, and the owner of EnergyLandia, Marek Gocza\u0142, finished the competition in eighth place.<\/strong> The brothers tried their hand at it again a year later. They finished the rally in 4th (Marek Gocza\u0142) and 5th place (Micha\u0142 Gocza\u0142) in the Cobant Energylandia Rally Team. Interestingly, the team manager was Agata Gocza\u0142<\/strong> (wife of the owner of Energylandia), and Eryk the mechanic<\/strong> (his).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winner of the Dakar Rally<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, the aforementioned Eryk Gocza\u0142 made his debut in the 2023 Dakar Rally at the age of 18.<\/strong> His father instilled in him a passion for motorsport. As a child, he won trophies in various competitions. At the age of 15, he won the title of the Best Junior Sportsman of 2019. In the 2019\/20 season, he took part in the Polish Rally Championship for Off-Road Vehicles. One of his greatest motorsport successes is undoubtedly title of Polish drifting champion in 2022<\/strong>. Eryk is also a stuntman and the youngest member of the Energylandia Extreme Show team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without a doubt, the greatest success of the son of the owner of EnergyLandia is winning the 2023 Dakar Rally in the SSV class.<\/strong> In the Energylandia Rally Team, Eryk beat his rivals by over 20 minutes, outclassing the competition. What’s more, Eryk became the youngest winner in the history of the rally, and was also its youngest participant. He achieved this in his debut, which deserves recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accommodation, footwear, products, construction and many businesses Gocza\u0142<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Gocza\u0142a family from Przytkowice runs many different businesses in many industries.<\/strong> The park owner’s brother, Micha\u0142 Gocza\u0142, is the owner of the most advertised accommodation offer located near EnergyLandia. We are talking about Western Camp Resort.<\/strong> This place offers accommodation in 60 cabins, 40 Indian tipi tents and 40 cowboy wagons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marek Gocza\u0142 and his wife Agata Gocza\u0142 manage companies such as:<\/strong> Energy 2000, Energylandia Water Park, Energylandia Gocza\u0142 Family, Theme Design or Technoform Marek Gocza\u0142. These companies operate mainly in the entertainment and recreation industry, but they also produce rubber and plastic products. Their daughter Klaudia Gocza\u0142 is also involved in the amusement park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be easily concluded that the Gocza\u0142 family is strongly focused and organized around such a large business as EnergyLandia<\/strong>, and individual family members are responsible for specific sectors of activity of the largest amusement park in Poland, EnergyLandia in Zator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much does the Gocza\u0142a family earn?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Certainly not a few. Businesses in the form of the largest disco in Poland, Energy 2000, and the largest amusement park, EnergyLandia, generate huge revenues<\/strong>. However, official data is not known. It is known, however, that the owner of the park has not been included in the list of 100 richest Poles in the Forbes ranking in recent years. However, Marek Gocza\u0142 was ranked 50th in list of the 100 most influential people<\/a> in Polish tourism in 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
