According to the official website of Energylandia, the park covers an area of 70 hectares<\/strong>. For comparison, a football pitch is only 0.71 hectares (71 ares). In meters, if you measure Energylandia lengthwise and widthwise, you can assume that it occupies a rectangle measuring about 1,280 meters by 520 meters. That’s quite a size. These values show how big Energylandia is.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does Energylandia compare to other amusement parks?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For comparison, below I present the area of other amusement parks. Legendia in Chorz\u00f3w, Disneyland in Paris, or Europa Park in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decided to measure the surface of Energylandia and Legendia myself based on satellite images. In the case of Legendia, a large part of it is occupied by a lake, which is practically not used as an attraction in the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When measuring Legendia, it comes out to exactly 24 hectares.<\/strong>, but after deducting the surface of the lake, there are 17 hectares of area where we can play<\/strong>. In the case of Energylandia, the area of all zones is 40 hectares<\/strong> (excluding parking lots and farm buildings inaccessible to visitors). Energylandia expanded in 2024 with a new zone called Sweet Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Energylandia’s plans for the coming years<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Energylandia’s marketing materials show that the owners of the largest Polish amusement park are not resting on their laurels and will be significantly developing the park in the coming years. In 2014, when Energylandia was opened, it occupied an area of 26 hectares<\/strong>, which is exactly the same as Legendia today. In 2021, Energylandia already had 43 hectares<\/strong>, and in 2024 already 70 hectares. Energylandia plans to cover an area of 200 hectares<\/strong>, which means that in the next 3 years it will be enlarged as much as 3 times! This is a grand scale, there is no hiding it!
